A-level students have received their results this week with over 272,000 18 year olds applying for a place on a higher education course in 2017. The next few weeks will be a busy time for landlords as many students look to secure accommodation before the start of term in mid to late September.

Waterfords tells local homeowners not to panic as UK house prices in first quarterly fall since 2012

There is evidence that in the three months to April 2017 house prices fell by 0.2% - the first quarterly fall since November 2012. Halifax stated that prices fell by 0.1% over the past month alone. However, for the year to April, prices actually rose by 3.8% across the UK, the same increase as in March, with statistics in the area local to Waterfords looking highly promising.
