ESTATE AGENT IS PERFECT, SAY THEIR CUSTOMERS
13-December-2006
An Estate agent with branches throughout the Courier area has been given an early Christmas present.
Waterfords was given full marks by customers in every category of the latest independent report from the Ombudsman for Estate Agents (OEA).
The company also received a 100% recommendation rating in the survey and a 100% score when surveyed for code compliance as sellers.
This included questions about complying with OEA business terms, accuracy or particulars, viewing arrangements and continuation of marketing.
"Waterfords achieved excellent results from the recent OEA survey," said Bill McClintock, chairman of the board for OEA.
"Getting full marks from their clients in every category — professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful — was terrific and they should be very proud of getting such praise from their customers."
The ten out of ten in every category beats the national average of 8.7.
Brendan Cox, managing director of Waterfords, which has
offices in Bagshot, Camberley, Chobham, Fleet, Sunningdale and Yateley, was
delighted.
"The results and wholehearted endorsement from our clients underline just how seriously we take service and looking after every last detail with care and consideration," he said.
Meanwhile, the company is also celebrating winning accreditation from Investor in People (IIP) for the second time in three years. Waterfords first gained IIP recognition in 2003. It has now won praise on a number of counts. IIP has praised Waterfords as a naturally progressive company which trusts its staff, sponsors innovation and development and has a professional family approach.
Only 34% of companies get re-accredited in their three-year review and IIP assessor Paul Temple interviewed 25 members of staff from Waterfords' six
offices. He said: "Waterfords is an absolutely excellent firm and it"s a pleasure to see everyone so happy working
for them. I fully expect them to grow successfully as they are more than up
for the challenge."
Mr Cox said: "This is wonderful news, coming so soon after the survey from the Ombudsman for Estate Agents. We are gratified that our efforts to make Waterfords progressive and
involving have been recognised by both our staff and the IIP. We invest in
our people because they are our greatest asset and provide the highest level of service, which is our hallmark. We also invest in our staff by encouraging
innovation and trust, and this has clearly yielded rich dividends."
