Waterfords Academy

24-September-2007

Waterfords is pioneering a new academy for aspiring estate agents, planning to turn students into fully fledged agents.  The two year course will aim to teach 18 to 20 year olds the Waterfords' way, in putting customers at the top of the agenda.  It will also instruct them in all apsects of estate agency, mentoring them and sponsoring them through the NVQ qualification in Estate Agency.

The course will start this Autumn with three delegates.  The apprentices will go through a structured training programme in both hard and soft skills with the hope of developing them into property professionals within two years.

"Estate Agency standards need to rise if we are to give people a better level of customer experience than the one they currently enjoy or expect" said Sean Wickes, Operations Director.  "We are excited at the prospect of seeing our staff of the future coming into a well structured and planned training programme.  It quickly makes them more effective and will give them a qualification relevant to the business."
