WATERFORDS SWIM THE CHANNEL FOR CHARITY

Waterfords Property Services and put together a super fit team to swim the equivalent of the English Channel in order to raise more funds for their dedicated charity, the Children with Special Needs Foundation.

12 adults and five children swam a total distance of 21.92 miles at the Holmes Place Health Club, Farnborough, in just under two hours, with family, friends and business contacts sponsoring the team to raise £2,000 for the charity.

Gordon Parris, Chairman of the Charity said:

“Once again, we are indebted to Waterfords for going “the extra mile” for our special children.  It is so generous of this Company to be so committed to helping local families with special needs children and it is an added bonus that they involve so many of their staff in achieving such good results”
