In May, the employee of the month accolade goes to an impressive Yateley team member. The local property market in Yateley is hectic and our team have been working incredibly hard to meet the needs of all sellers and buyers. Ever since Waterfords opened in 1995, we have always believed in rewarding our hardworking staff with vouchers, holidays, or team days out. In 2021, we have launched an employee of the month scheme to recognise outstanding performance across all our estate agent departments.
 

Liam Tappin wins employee of the month

We are delighted to announce that the winner of our employee of the month for May 2021 is Property Consultant, Liam Tappin, based in Waterfords Yateley.

A bit about Liam, the karaoke king!

“Hi, I’m Liam and I work as a Property Consultant in the Waterfords Yateley team. The most inspiring part of my job is providing buyers and sellers with a smooth and stress-free process while moving home, which can be a very tense time. I absolutely love trying to make the moving journey as easy as possible for them.

After graduating from Bracknell and Wokingham College, I worked at Tesco in Warfield. I realised I wanted more of a challenge and to work more closely with customers. I went to work for another local estate agent in Camberley for over a year, before moving over to Waterfords in Yateley.

I live locally in Owlsmoor with my parents and in my spare time I love watching football and playing golf. Unfortunately, I support Arsenal! You will often find me watching the football with my mates in The Royal Foresters pub in Ascot. A fun fact about me is that I’m a bit of a karaoke king – well that’s what I like to think anyway!

I love working at Waterfords and I’m looking forward to progressing my career here.”
