Waterfords Lettings launch new Farnham Property Management Hub

Waterfords Lettings expand their dedicated property management team after a record breaking number of lets across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. 

Throughout May, June and July the Waterfords Lettings team have seen an unprecedented number of tenants interested in letting a property. Demand for rental properties in the region is very high with demand far outstripping supply.

Samuel Charlton, Area Lettings Manager, comments;

"The slowing sales market means that it is a good time to invest in a lettings portfolio.

The ever-increasing house prices in the residential sales sector, means many first time buyers have to rent in order to save for a deposit. This will mean higher demand for decent rental properties.

My Waterfords lettings team are advising all landlords to retain their properties to take advantage of the increased demand on rental stock. Landlords who come to market, will witness high interest in their properties."

Due to the high demand for rental properties and the increased amount of tenancies, Waterfords made the decision to expand the lettings team and create a more streamlined process for Landlords and Tenants who use Waterfords Lettings. 


The new Property Management team have set up a new Hub in the Waterfords Farnham branch on Castle Street, joining the existing Farnham Sales team. Some structural changes to Property Management will ensure that our Landlords and Tenants receive the best possible service.

Emily Pilbeam, Head of Property Management

Emily started at Waterfords as a Trainee Lettings Consultant in 2014 in our flagship Camberley Office. 

She excelled in all areas to become Assistant Lettings Manager in only 3 years, followed by her promotion to Head of Property Management in Summer 2018. She has quickly proven herself as a fantastic team leader to the Property Management Team and impresses Landlords and Tenants with her ability to solve problems with calmness and professionalism. 

Her experience in both marketing properties and finding the perfect tenant to problem solving behind the scenes mean Waterfords customers are very well looked after!

Sophie Carpenter, Lettings Move in Coordinator

Sophie began her Waterfords career in our Customer Contact Centre in 2016. Sophie loves how friendly and customer-focused Waterfords are as a company. 

As Waterfords Lettings Move Coordinator, Sophie loves to ensure that all lettings transactions for both landlord and tenant run as smoothly as possible. She strives to make the lettings process as stress free as she can and thrives on seeing how appreciative our tenants and landlords when a tenant is happy and settled in their rental property.

Catherine Dunk, Property Manager

Catherine joined Waterfords in 2018 as a property manager and provides exemplary customer service to both landlords and tenants.

Catherine brought a wealth of lettings industry experience to the property management team, having previously worked as an inventory clerk and lettings viewing assistant at another estate agents. She loves working in the Waterfords Fleet branch and says the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and that this is passed on to the customer.

Nicole Hamer, Property Manager

Even though this is Nicole’s first time working in the lettings industry, she joins Waterfords with a wealth of experience after working as a Sales and Booking Manager for Your Survey Ltd. Nicole’s time of working for a reputable Chartered Surveyor with customers from all over the UK means she is in an excellent position to help with Waterfords landlords and tenants.
