Waterfords proudly support Mental Health UK

Waterfords Estate Agents are raising money and awareness for Mental Health UK throughout 2021.  The recent COVID pandemic and subsequent restrictions and lockdowns have been particularly difficult for everyone’s mental health. This made the team at Waterfords want to do something to support such a vital cause.

Matt Blackman, based in our Camberley Lettings team, wanted to take part in Tough Mudder and Spartan in 2021 and he thought why not support a charity along the way! A few days later, over ten members of the Waterfords team wanted to join him in his quest for improving fitness and helping a mental health charity.

Waterfords Estate Agents proudly support Mental Health UK

We chose to support Mental Health UK as one of the lesser know mental health charities who do amazing work directly supporting those affected. Mental Health UK supports people affected by mental health problems including friends, family and carers. Working across the UK, they bring together experts from four national mental health charities to improve understanding and provide vital care.

How are we supporting Mental Health UK?

Over ten members of the Waterfords team are taking part in two events in 2021 – Tough Mudder and Spartan. These two challenges will require training and dedication over the coming months, after which they will face two gruelling yet highly rewarding fitness challenges. By raising money for such an important cause, the team hope to raise awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health and supporting those who are suffering.
