Waterfords to launch upgraded landlord service in 2019

There is no doubt you will be now be aware of the approaching legislation changes affecting all rental properties from 1st June 2019. Due to these changes, Waterfords Lettings want to go the extra mile for existing and new landlords to provide an upgraded service and be completely transparent about landlord and property management fees put in place moving forward.

We continually aim to innovate and improve our service for our landlords. We are delighted to announce that later in 2019, we will be expanding on our existing property management service and offering a variety of upgraded management packages for our landlords to choose from.

Referencing that covers credit checks, landlord referencing, employment checks, affordability and now also offering CIFAS and default Database checks. 

The landlord will also receive £50,000 legal cover including eviction costs.


Inspire

Referencing that covers credit checks, landlord references, employment checks, affordability and now also offering CIFAS and default Database checks.

£50,000 legal cover including eviction costs.

100% of the monthly rent covered in the case of arrears, paid up to six months

No policy excess if Inspire pro policy is taken out


Infinity

Referencing that covers credit checks, landlord references, employment checks, affordability and now also offering CIFAS and default Database checks.

£50,000 legal cover including eviction costs.

100% of the month rent guaranteed from the date the tenant moves in. 

Hassle free service with full peace of mind with regards to control of property and rent income.


All the above services benefit from a dedicated team to assist on evictions, returning the property back to the landlord in 122 days on average (national average 320 days). Lettings legislation changes 2019

This year we now face further legislation changes set by the Government with an upcoming Tenant Fee Ban. The new law includes;

Security deposits for all current tenancies will be capped at 5 weeks and the difference in the deposit will have to be returned to the tenants at the stage of renewing the tenancy

Holding deposits for all new tenancies will be capped at one week

Tenants are unable to be charged for independent check ins
