The area hosts an abundance of Christmas markets and events for the whole family in and around Camberley, Chobham, Fleet and Yateley. You can find hand crafted gifts, decorations, delicious food and of course plenty of mulled wine and mince pies!
SATURDAY 16TH NOVEMBER
Camberley Christmas Light Switch On
Time: 10am – 7pm
About: "Jamie Raven, Magician and another amazing act from Britain’s Got Talent fame, will be switching on the Christmas Lights at this year’s event! The most loved bear in the world is coming to Camberley! Paddington Bear will be making personal appearances at intervals between 10.30am and 3pm inside The Square Shopping Centre! There will be a great selection of stalls on the High Street all day. Please note this year’s light switch on will be taking place from 4:30 with lights switching on approx. 4:50."

THURSDAY 21ST NOVEMBER
Woking Christmas Light Switch On
Time: 3pm – 7pm
About: “Woking Christmas lights switch-on event on Thursday 21st November takes place in Jubilee Square with a fabulous day of festivities. Eagle Radio will be comparing the show and there will be a host of free entertainment for you all to enjoy. The exciting schedule includes music and dance performances by local schools and a fantastic kettle band bringing some carnival spirit to the heart of the town.
Santa will also be flying by to meet and greet the little ones and a variety characters walking about the Peacocks Centre and Wolsey Place, will entertain you throughout the day.
You’re sure to be wowed by an incredible animal encounter as Woking welcomes a furry friend to join the celebrations, while Woking Choral Society fills the centre with festive cheer in the evening.
It’s set to be a fantastic community event which will also include our stunning lantern parade, featuring lanterns hand made by children using recycled materials.”

SATURDAY 23RD NOVEMBER
Farnborough Frost Fair
Time: 10am – 4pm
About: There will be a handmade Christmas market, with over 45 stalls along Queensmead packed full of gorgeous gifts, from local food and drink to handmade jewellery and unique Christmas decorations.
Over 100 performers from local bands, choirs and dance schools will take to the main stage, singing and dancing to Christmas classics and sprinkling Christmas spirit over the town centre.
Families can enjoy making Christmas decorations in the free children's crafts tent and shake hands with a giant Father Christmas. They can also have a go at circus skills with Juggling Jake, build a Christmas shape from bricks, have a ride on a donkey, have their face painted for free and much more.

WEDNESDAY 27TH NOVEMBER
Fleet Christmas Festival and light switch on
Time: 2pm – 9pm
About: The Market will take place from 2 - 9pm on Fleet high street, offering a fabulous variety of gifts and crafts, as well as a scrumptious selection of food and drink for you to buy as presents, take home or sample on the spot... Lots of activities for all ages - warm up on our Beer Bus, kids can have fun at the free Children’s activity marquee.
In Gurkha Square from 2pm, there will be community stalls offering crafts/games/items for sale, a nativity tableau and live animals. On the Main Stage from around 4.50pm Choirs will be singing, Santa will make an appearance and the cast of this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, will switch on the lights at 6.30pm!
Local charity, Autism Friendly Fleet, welcome adults and children on the autistic spectrum and their families to escape the excitement of the festival and relax in a calm and quiet environment at the Hart Volunteer Centre on the 1st floor of the Hart Shopping Centre. We look forward to welcoming you between 4pm - 9pm.

SATURDAY 30TH NOVEMBER
Odiham Christmas Extravaganza
Time: 4pm onwards
About: A huge event in Odiham’s calendar, with thousands of visitors treading the High Street each year! The annual switching on of the Village Christmas Tree Lights, a full evening of on-stage entertainment featuring Odiham’s schools and a collection of musical acts, enjoy an amazing traditional fun fair, scores of fantastic food and other vendors, and some outstanding street performers.

Lightwater Christmas Fayre in the Square and Light Switch On
Time: 12pm – 6pm
About: Christmas Fayre in the Square starts at 12pm (midday) with opening speech by the Mayor of Surrey Heath. Carol performances by Lightwater Village School and Hammond School and singing performances by local theatre school. Mulled wine and mince pies offered by the LBA and Co-op Lightwater and hot food from George Arthur Butchers. Lots of stalls selling gifts, arts & crafts, local foodstuffs. A visit from Father Christmas himself!

Yateley Christmas Market
Time: 3.30pm – 6.30pm
About: Christmas light switch on, carol singing, amusements, gift and food stalls, Christmas goodies, Morris dancing and much more!
Location: Church End Green, in front of the Dog and Partridge pub, Yateley, Hampshire
Camberley Christmas Street Party
Time: 1pm – 6pm
About: As part of the town’s Be Enchanted Christmas programme, Surrey Heath Borough Council will be hosting a Camberley Christmas Street Party on Saturday 30 November 2019 in Park Street. The party will include Santa and lots of special guests and characters.

THURSDAY 5TH DECEMBER
Hartley Wintney Christmas Market
Time: 4pm – 8pm
About: Hartley Wintney’s annual Christmas Market, coinciding with the High Street Market. Indoor craft and gift stalls, local artisans, charity stalls, bar and food.
Location: Hartley Wintney Cricket Club and High Street, Hampshire.
FRIDAY 6TH DECEMBER
CHOBHAM EXTRAVAGANZA
Time: 3.30pm – 8.30pm
About: Businesses and orgnisations in Chobham host a late Christmas shopping evening throughout the centre of the village, with activities and festive fun for everyone.
SUNDAY 8TH DECEMBER
Farnham Christmas Market
Time: 10am – 4pm
About: Celebrate the run up to Christmas by visiting this hugely popular Christmas Market with an array of stalls selling Christmas gifts and a variety of food and drink stalls.

SATURDAY 14TH DECEMBER
Elvetham Heath Market Christmas Special
Time: 10am – 1.30pm
About: “Alongside our fantastic regular produce we’ll have extra stalls selling gifts and food. Stock up for the big day from great local suppliers: order your turkey, buy a Christmas tree or wreath and even enjoy a glass of mulled wine and some carol singers! Please come and support our local traders and their wonderful products.”
