In January 2022, the employee of the month accolade went to an impressive team member based at our Yateley branch of Waterfords Estate Agents. The local property market across our branch network in Camberley, Chobham, Fleet and Yateley is hectic, with UK house prices having risen 10% in the year to December 2021, and all our teams have been working very hard. Ever since Waterfords Estate Agents opened in 1995, we have always believed in rewarding our hardworking staff. In 2021, we have launched an employee of the month scheme to recognise outstanding performance across all our estate agent departments.
 

Shaun Barnes wins employee of the month

We are delighted to announce the winner of our employee of the month for January 2022 is our Branch Manager, Shaun Barnes, based in Waterfords Yateley Office.

Associate Director, Sam Charlton, comments:

“Shaun constantly shows willingness to help others and leads the Yateley office magnificently. He has also taken on a work experience candidate to help support the local schools and give young people a taste of what it’s like to work for a customer service focussed estate agent with a different approach.”

About Shaun


 

Shaun began his career journey with Waterfords in 2015 and has quickly progressed from a trainee in the Waterfords Contact Centre to Branch Manager of the Yateley office. After working in most of the Waterfords branches over the last 7 years, Shaun has gained a huge amount of property market and customer service knowledge and absolutely loves helping people with their moving journey. Shaun says the best part of his job is seeing how excited new homeowners are when they collect their keys!

In his spare time, Shaun enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and socialising with friends. He lives locally in Yateley and enjoys going to the Cinnamon Bay Indian Restaurant.
