Sales Manager or Senior Property Consultant - Fleet

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Waterfords has a wonderful opportunity for a Sales Manager or Senior Property Consultant to join our friendly team in our Residential Sales Branch in the lovely town centre location of Fleet.

For this role you will ideally have over 3 year’s estate agency experience for the Sales Manager role or over 2 years’ experience for Senior Property Consultant role.

Have a look below to see what kind of tasks you’ll be undertaking;

  • Oversee the branch valuation and listing process to ensure that office objectives are achieved
  • Undertake valuations and convert to instruction agreements
  • Manage vendors and price reductions adhering to the company policy in this respect
  • Manage and oversee sales progression up to the point of completion
  • Ensure all cross selling opportunities are achieved with both personal and office targets met
  • Attend meetings, share ideas and assist with coaching more junior staff
  • Develop personal skills and capability through ongoing training as provided by the company
  • Assist the Branch Manager in running the Branch including covering the Branch Manager in their absence.
  • Able to provide reports on branch Stats

Able to commute reliably to office base. Must have a clean or near clean driver’s license and access to a car to use for work.

Must be adept in the use of MS Office and be IT literate

Must be an excellent ‘face-to-face’ and telephone communicator.

Property Negotiator - Job Description

The Property Consultant responsibilities are:

  • Making Outbound Calls.
  • Tenaciously seeking and creating new business.
  • Keeping in contact with customers and keeping them up to date with their sale and purchase.
  • Progressing sales through to completion.
  • Delivering leaflets.
  • Generating new business by networking and door-knocking.

The Property Consultant role is a sales role therefore you will be required to work to targets and have a passion ‘to sell’ and be target orientated.

Please note you must have at least 12 months experience of working in Estate Agency.

The Candidate for the Property Consultant Role

Must be:

  • Self-motivated and determined to succeed against agreed performance indicators.
  • Ideally you will have some experience within a sales environment and/or an estate agency environment
  • Excellent communication skills are a must; you must be confident enough to approach and discuss sales opportunities with potential customers.
  • You must be resilient and have the ability to manage customer rejection.
  • We are offering a basic salary of £16k depending on experience alongside commission - OTE is between £18-22k. Commission is not capped.

As a Property Consultant you will be required to work a 5 day week 0830 – 1800. Every other Saturday is worked, with Wednesday off if you have worked the Saturday.

There is the opportunity to join a pension scheme. There is also a life assurance scheme (upon successful completion of a trial). Training will be given on the role and there is the opportunity to train through an agency standard package which is City and Guilds accredited.

You must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
