In September 2021, the employee of the month accolade goes to an impressive team member in our Chobham branch. The local Surrey property market is hectic, and our lettings and our Chobham team have been working incredibly hard to meet the needs of all our sellers and buyers. Ever since Waterfords Estate Agents opened in 1995, we have always believed in rewarding our hardworking staff. In 2021, we have launched an employee of the month scheme to recognise outstanding performance across all our estate agent departments.
 

Oliver Manning wins employee of the month

We are delighted to announce the winner of our employee of the month for September 2021 is Property Consultant, Oliver Manning, based in our Chobham branch.

Associate Director, Sam Charlton, comments:

“I have had the pleasure of working closely with Oliver over the last month and I am impressed by his attitude and work ethic. He has shown a huge amount of growth in ability, maturity and leadership skills. Oliver has really stepped up these last few weeks, he has shown commitment, compassion, and organisational skills I didn’t know he had! I am excited to see his career at Waterfords unfold!”
 

A bit about Oliver - a footie fan!

“Hi my name is Olly and I work in the Chobham Branch of Waterfords Estate Agents.

I arrived at Waterfords in March 2021 and I have absolutely loved my start at the company. I began my career in the Customer Contact Centre and loved calling local people and helping them get through their house move as smoothly as possible. My hard work in the Customer Contact Centre has meant I’ve been able to progress to a front of house role in the Chobham branch very quickly, an achievement I’m proud of.

Before I started at Waterfords I used to be a Football coach.  I did PE lessons in local primary schools as well as running several of my own clubs and football teams during the evening – which I loved!

Football is a big part of my life and when I’m not coaching, I love to play myself.  I am a striker and play for a local team on Saturday and Sunday – which takes up a large part of my weekend.  I also train twice a week and join in the Waterfords 5 a side which is brilliant as it’s meant I can get to know the people I work with outside of work and they are now my friends.  I am also a massive Manchester United fan and make sure to watch every game in my lucky shirt!

Outside of football I do love to keep fit, I go to the gym and go for runs. Recently I completed Spartan Race with some of my Waterfords colleagues in aid of Mental Health UK. So far we have managed to raise over £1,500 for this incredible charity!

I am loving working at Waterfords and can’t wait to see where this path takes me!”
